Laptop shuts down Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 4:42 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Pat (98 messages posted) I need help for a friend...She has an HP Pavillion 1130 and it shuts down after about 30 to 45 mins of being open.  I know that lately she would leave her computer on all day and only shut it at night. It seems to be charging ok cause I thought it might be the adapter.
