keyboard layout - ime Monday, February 23, 2009 at 7:53 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Hangwaiter (4 messages posted) Hi all Since my Acer laptop came with an english keyboard and i use it in Germany, i needed some special german characters. To make things easier, i bought an external keyboard with German layout. However, when i go to - language settings to add another keyboard i only get as far as selecting "German" for the keyboard type, but can not add a German layout because it does not appear in the dropdown list "keyboard layout/IME. There is anything from kyrillic to albanian, belarus, etc. but no german. Any idea how i can add this layout to the list?
