Good to know I'm not the only one to encounter the error and glad I didn't waste
admin's time. Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm new to submitting a query to Annoyances
but hardly new to PCs or the Internet. Searching directly from Google is my normal
workaround, and entering: site:annoyances.org "contact us" revealed the target.
Had to chuckle at ricer's observation that I "hadn't looked hard enough." (for
contact info) Sorry, but after some 20 years of navigating web sites, FAQs and poorly
written documentation, I confess to having grown quite tired of wasting a lot of
time guessing where a programmer/web designer might have hidden something or searching
for things that should be easy to find. In this case, a hyperlink buried at the bottom
of - http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/about
I'm guessing it might be as frustrating to have gone on countless wild goose chases
as it is to answer redundant questions asked by newbies. My favorite is still the
typo-ridden manual HP published for HP BASIC that made programming impossible unless
you knew in advance that every bloody * in command strings had replaced by &'s.
:-) Thanks for your patience.
