Unfortunately my battery does not have an LED indicator light on the battery itself. The battery I have is a X284G. I went an searched the DELL community forums. One other person has the same issue. He/she is still on warranty and Dell told this person: This is not a problem with the battery and that his/her laptop is properly functioning!?!
