Some people want an acknowledgment for every action, therefore I assumed that you
meant exactly what you wrote rather than something else. (Hence by default we have
that incessant click when selecting something in IE.)
Re-read your question. When you change the value in the registry, you will not hear
a beep, or something similar indicating you made the change. That's what you asked.
NOW, I think what you meant was that after you made the change in the registry what
would happen? Well I think that it was made pretty clear before, that you would get
a visual indicator in your Tray, and nothing more.
