Well I haven't let Vista anywhere near Windows Genuine Advantage not that I have
anything to hide its genuine. I have had problems with my WinXP machine with this.
Ok I did buy it of eBay but it looked a genuine hologrammed CD with the COA label.
I download all the usual updates and that install WGA and did a restart. Then you
get the message this Windows cound be counterfeit click here to verify. It goes to
M$ and it says illegal. How can it be illegal if I registered the genuine number
with M$ when I installed it. I emailed M$ and they said its an OEM version, yes so
what its still genuine, they would do anything.
You can't uninstall WGA you have to do a system restore to remove it.
With my Vista it wasn't to install WGA for Office well they can forget that as well.
I never get that on WinXP with the same Office installed.
