Of course you can turn it off and choose what you need, however once you set the manual updates the genuine advante kicks in.. Well I guess to make sure that there is no piracy software.. But I wonder, if you wish not to download genuine adv. could it be possible that no new updates would be sent to that particular IP adress ?? Once again am I paranoia or too afraid about security here ??
