Question about SP2 Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 1:00 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Link (500 messages posted) I installed SP1 on 9/30/08. SP2 came out 5/26/09. I have never been offered to install SP2 by Windows Update, although I receive other updates regularly. I check for updates and get the "Windows is up to date". Why haven't I been offered the SP2 yet? Should I be concerned or just be patient? One other note, I have been offered to install IE8 several times, but, I have yet to install it. Since I don't have IE8, could that be the reason I am not offered SP2?
