First go to your Device Manager and delete all USB Host controllers and restart.
That is normally all that is required. If not try to roll back the USB drivers or
try new drivers. Try drivers both from your manufacturer and from the chip maker.
Have you tried your failing devices in a friends computer to verify that they are
operable?
