Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 1:01 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by C K (6908 messages posted) Someone installed a second Windows operating system.  Maybe they were trying to repair the original install and instead was confused and installed a second Windows.  The second install will go to a Windows1 folde instead of repairing the original install.  Windows one would be the last one installed, the machine is booting into the Windows1 install and can't be deleted while it is running.  There can be some files shared between the two installs depending on the IE version, so you may not be able to delete either of them.  Best to start over and wipe out both and reinstall clean if you want to get rid of one or either of them.
