Actualy the apps I mentioned automaticly make a backup of the registry changes
as a .reg file which can be loaded back into the registry to repair any mistaken
registry changes.
There are a lot of registry save apps and then you can allways copy the "SYSBCKUP"
folder under the windows dir, it has a backup of most of the registry. Of corse
with WinMe since it defaults to 5 save files, you usaly have a good backup, even
if you turn off system restore, as WinMe still creates backups.
I don't recomend apps to people unless I try them and they work for me, now that
doesn't mean there are not possibilitys of problems, its windows, that means it has
problems, because Microsoft never listens to people, there are problems still in
windows, that were in the first version ever made and Microsoft has been told of
them by a hell of a lot of people.
Microsoft has a monopoly and as such they get by with murder, plus they have this
stupid idea they know what hardware and how you use your machine, better than you
do, which guarantees failure from the start.
