Increase a laptops desktop across three displays

This may be the wrong forum if so can someone please point me to the correct one?
I have used my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, running Windows 7 Home Premium, with two
external LCD displays to mirror what is on the laptop's display via video splitter.
This worked in this particular circumstances but I would like to use the LCDs in
the same way I do when they are connected to my desktop XP machine. This old desktop
has a dual port video card plus its integrated video card allowing me to stretch
the Desktop across three LCDs; the third being a small 15" LCD.
Is it possible to use the laptops USB ports to add the VGA connectors so that I can
have the laptop's Desktop across three LCD; the two external and the laptops own
LCD?

All you have to do is Google:
http://www.usb-ware.com/usb-2-vga-adapter.htm
However, they don't always work that well. You just have to try one and see. They
aren't good for fast motion though and in fact may not work on most games. The USB
buss is slower than the dedicated video buss.

Thank you.
Speed is irrelevant as the desktop will be displaying various spreadsheets.

Searching of Google has not turned up the exact device I am looking for. I want the
VGA output to be to two displays so I can stretch the Desktop across all three; the
laptop's and mt two external LCDs.
However even if I find one I expect the price to be more than I can justify. I may
buy the cheapest single port adaptor and run my splitter off that to duplicate part
of my Desktop.

What vid CHIP does your laptop have? if it is an ATI you may get away with using
the ATI 'Hydravision' software. Without knowing your exact setup it is hard to say
and it is very difficult on a laptop where you can not add multiple cards to the
system, but I know one guy that did achieve his goal using this. ATI require this
program for multiple over 2 or 3 and it works in some other cases. There are definatley
Mobil applications listed on the ATI site.

Hydravision won't work on that and this card only supports 2 monitors. I think you
are out of luck.
