CHKDSK/R might tidy up the corruption, although the file that was being written
at the moment you unplugged is probably beyond repair.
If its a large disk it will take a very long time to complete.
If that doesn't work, try Recuva.
It is free and was designed for "accidentally deleted" files but can also find files
when your file system is corrupted.
Or you can try a utility such as this,
but its not free.
