Could be your power supply, could be overheating (defective fans, heat sink problems, etc) - but more likely (as I think you suspect) to be hardware rather than software.

You can confirm by looking in Event Viewer at the time of one of these crashes - the absence of any 'Critical' items means its unlikely to be software-related.

You can try posting at http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/, although I'd seriously consider a warranty (if its still valid) claim and let the supplier sort it out.
