Hi Phantom,

Your message is quite old now, and maybe you aren't monitoring it any more, but anyway...

In this situation, take advice from Rawhide: "Don't try to understand 'em, just rope and throw and brand 'em".

Open the problem folder and delete every file you can. Usually you will find you are left with just one or two problem files.

Instal some such utility as MoveOnBoot, and use it to mark those files for deletion on the next boot.

Reboot, and hey presto, the files are gone. You can then delete the folder in the usual way.
