Please revisit your post so that others on this forum will know if the solutions 
were helpful or not helpful ........

They are default items for win2k you may need to run the SFC command (sfc=system file checker) Start/Run sfc /purgecache Have your win2k cd on hand it may ask for it, if it finds the files in error. You can also enable them with the gpedit.msc command
