Rick Lets backup just a bit, in your 1st post you said you wanted to repair win2k and you don't have a win2kcd to do that, right ?. You will need it to repair win2k the disk set will not help you, once it loads the disk set it will ask for the win2k cd. That said you have a error in software or hardware making a bad call, that's why you are getting the BSD, do this ,take the cover off the PC and remove all the hardware you can and unplug any thing that's pluged into the PC, start with just the base items, video card, mouse, keyboard that's it with some luck it may load up and you can remove the software or hardware that's making the bad call. If not you will need to get a win2k cd to runthe repair or reinstall a 2nd copy of win2k . Good Luck
